    New Predator breaks down hard?

Sorry about that typo...I have the le-4 with the gen-3 shaft with radial pin. It seems to work much better since I cleaned up the joint on the shaft but will keep the tapping idea in mind if it starts breaking down hard again. Thanks For The Help, Dean

    New Predator breaks down hard?

Just a quick follow up for anyone else having this issue... I was on the Predator website yesterday looking for a customer service number and noticed they recommend cleaning the joints of all new sticks with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip, and periodicly after that. Thought I'd give that a try...

    New Predator breaks down hard?

Thanks for all of the replies:thumbup: I thought about putting something on the threads to make it easier but was hesitant to gunk up the inner joint on the shaft and possibly make things worse. As far as leaving my sticks together... I always lay all of my sticks flat on the table after I'm...

    New Predator breaks down hard?

I bought a new predator roadline SE at the Valley Forge show last April and absolutely love this stick. It has a great balance to it and hits like a dream with the 314-3 shaft with factory Everest tip. With that being said, I hate the way this thing screws together...It's ridiculously tight...

    Matching wood stain

It's not hard Chris, but does take some time and experimenting. I matched my Brunswick anniversary skirts almost perfect. Your best bet is grab a bunch of the small cans of Minwax stains from your favorite hardware store and test them out on the back side of your skirts. I had to mix and match...

New Cloth - I installed.........Need advice on Rail Cushion Noise!

I'm not a table mechanic so take it for what it's worth. Maybe you have your felt slightly bunched up or stapled at the wrong spot under the rails.

Is it never too late to become a great player?

Check out Zero-X System on utube. I've been shooting pool for 35 years and picked up some more knowledge. Best part is it's free!!! I liked it so much I bought some of his computer downloads. Money well spent.

    Moving a Table Myself

As RKC stated, the slates can be moved with with one person but definately need the right technique and tools. This pic shows the pins that the older brunswicks have and a useful tool for moving slates. There's also a handle that clamps to the top of the slate to pull it around with. Hat's off...

    Ball Return Box

Hey Steve, I tried to do mine in cork and wasn't happy with it so I went to home cheapo and bought a small piece of black indoor outdoor carpet that has a felt look. I cut it up and installed it with double sided carpet tape. I cut the large bottom piece big enough to cover the ramps where the...

Biggest mistakes made when reclothing a table

Glue on your fingers and touching the felt on the finished side  I'm not a mechanic but recovered some tables and all of the bar boxes I've done it helps to lift the slate up on both ends and have someone slide a 2 bye 4 under the slate to elavate it till your finished. Good luck with...

To crate or not, and how to haul

I'm not a table mechanic and don't want to steer you in the wrong direction but I just stacked my slate flat on top of each other. It was a Brunswick 9ft. anniversary with wood backing on the slates. I layed a moving blanket between the slates and they didn't move a bit in our 350 mile trip...

    anniversary pocket liners

I put the second matching half of the velcro over the other one then measured and lined everything up and this is what I ended up with. I planned on putting some pop rivets in later after I checked to make sure my profiles were correct for each pocket but found it wasn't needed. I'm glad for...
