Hello Dave, I was wondering if the pin has a hollow end on it. I can send you a photo if your not exactly sure in what I am asking. The shaft you have is clearly a 1993 Schon Shaft, I can only tell if the butt is a 1993 by seeing the end of pin on the butt of the cue. Thanks, Chuck

Play it out in my opinion. Throwing a match might keep a lazy hangover unless your mentally strong. For most, a hard fought loss is still a win mentally, at least that's how I feel about it.
