Bob, Howdy;
I'd looked at Wiki, but the page I looked at may have had the drawing but lacked any kind of definition
of scoring or measurements. The links above have the measurements.
The videos you recommended are at present, unavailable. Also, I just went to the Balkline page you mention...
Bob J. Howdy;
Hoping you'd show up. The UMB site is what it is, fairly good found the rules but they do not have the appendices
to the diagrams. So, the cow gives everything except the milk in this instance, chucklin'
I'll give it a shot to find Mr. Caudron's info. Thanks for the tip.
Went...
Bob J. Howdy;
Hoping you'd show up. The UMB site is selfishly in French and they don't link (that I have been able to find),
to the diagrams.
I'll give it a shot to find Mr. Caudron's info. Thanks for the tip.

Howdy All;
Just beginning the process of learning to play and a lot of the videos I'm finding are European and
as ya'll know they like the "Small" games. Have been hunting for an explanation of the various markings
that are on the table.
Is there somewhere that I can find out about the size of...
Howdy All;
I believe (you don't have to), that we can only attempt to control things that we have direct
contact with. Whatever happens after that is considered to be (IMHO), incidental influence.
I would and try really hard to just concentrate on what I can/maybe influence. I look at the CB...
Howdy All;
I like to start with simple things to check me and the table;
Check stroke, lag foot string to head rail also check speed control
by seeing where the CB stops. Where I intend it to or not, Short/Long
I'll do this with the side rails too.
Do Corner 5 from each corner to see if...
Chili P. Howdy;
You spell "chile" wrong, chucklin'. I'm half-way between Hatch and T or C. .Have been over to Alamogordo to play
several times at Mission Billiards (Owned by Wes Hunter [cue maker], and his wife Cindy), You left out Deming
which is the half-way point from Silver City to Las...
Tooler, Howdy;
Thanks, truly appreciate the suggestion, but, already tried them, they be the BROWN ones, huntin' for the BLACK ones.
They work as well as any other tip, just not as hard as I'm lookin' for.

Sorry for the hijack,.
The ones they have are LAYERED,

I'm on the look out for Black WB non-layered.

and hopefully this pdf also transfers to you...

Sounds like the one I have. Basic 4 points no veneers, nice solid good playing cue.
Mine appears to resemble the 3rd. from the Left in the bottom picture in the post
in the post above this one.
Just need to get the wrap cleaned and pressed.

Vince, Howdy'
Not a cue maker or Pro anything, however, I do enjoy a "good Le Pro" tip.
I use a powder scale and weigh the tips. The heavier (IMO), are more dense
so, stands to reason, they would be less 'fluffy' on the inside. I've also found
that they are smoother on the bottoms. Nuttin'...

Know that of which you speak. 60 miles to Las Cruces, NM and nearest pool hall (Olhausen/Jerry O's).
The rest are Private Clubs which allow smoking or 1 or 2 bars with fights. Can't wash the smoke smell
outta my clothes so I don't go to the clubs. My choice.
