I don't hate my GC 3 and I think it's far from shit. I'm not saying other tables don't play better but it's a damn fine table.

I used a Cuetec CF for about 4 months and switched back to a Pred 313-2. Nothing against the CF shaft, it was fine, I just like wood better.

I used one for about 4 months, and while I thought it was fine, I sold it for a Predator 314-2. I just like wood shafts better. Congrats on the new shaft it should give you years of service.

You just described me to a tee. Pool has become more fun exponentially since I quit my double jeopardy APA team. I play scotch doubles, masters and tournaments now and it has just made a world of difference.

The McDermott Defy is offered in 12mm. Have you had a chance to hit that one?

You really need to read "The Pleasure of Small Motions". It has done wonders for me with the mental aspect of where pool really belongs in my life. It doesn't and shouldn't define who you are it's just something you do to pass time ultimately.

I completely agree with this but I think it's unrealistic to expect that most people will be runout players in a year. I'm not saying its impossible but it would be the exception and not the rule.
