    I have 2 break cues, one on each end of the rainbow. A 25 ounce Orlandi sneaky pete style, about 57 inches long, thick shaft with a hard tip. An 18 ounce off brand "carbon fiber" cue, in need of a new tip. Cost me like $80, 25 years ago. To the OP, just buy a solid cheap cue in the weight...

    I bought a measle ball, and a can of white spray paint and painted over all the dots. Problem solved.

    standing up as you age??

    Do you find yourself shooting more upright as you get older? Or, is it so gradual that you don't notice? I think of Allison Fischer with her chin right down on the cue, and then Mosconi and Fats shooting much more upright. This just a natural progression?

    buy a decent used butt off of ebay and pair it with a good shaft and tip and you are good to go for less than $500
