    Ivory? Cue ball

Was in an antique store today and found this. Ivory? It looks like it but it is in fantastic condition. What do you think? Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

My latest project - part deux.

My rails and cloth came in for the 3 x 6 Irving Kaye I am working on. I measured the rails 7 ways to Sunday and found they are k66 rails. Mounted them and they look great! Gotta wait for them to dry and trim. Damn corners are still giving me an issue. Cannot find pocket liners that are long...

Got the cushion off the rail and it looks to be in pretty good condition. The cloth was extremely thin. Looks like it has only been replaced 3 times by the staple marks. My table has had 3 recovers in the last 17. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

Been doing a bit more research. Powder coating looks to be the way to go. Getting the corner caps done with chrome would be about 800 with prep work. I would much rather put that into better cloth or rails. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

What is the one that got away for you?

Your focus is different when you get older. I have been playing since I was 5. I didn't start appreciating drills till later in life Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

I find this is the fun part. I just hope the chrome will not be too expensive. I could go with powder coat but I read it looks like "a bag of smashed a$$holes" [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

Here is a picture of the rail and pocket liner. I believe they are original. The subrails are solid so I won't have to redo those. I hear the pocket liners are a challenge to get. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

    My latest project.

I wanted a table to practice on during the weekend when minding our Vintage store. So I pulled up Offer Up and found this... it is a 6 ft 1962 Irving Kaye. Slate is level but the rails pockets cloth etc need work. Thinking of getting the corners rechromed. Depends on what it costs. The guy sold...

    Playing scared...

Played my first tourney last night (8 ball chip match)... Jitters as usual when starting out. Won my first 5 matches (killer!). Then on a kick shot against a sub par player accidentally sunk the 8 ball and the wheels fell off... Lost my next 5 matches and boom out of the tourney. I was very...

How about free... I could get enough from advertising to keep the site going... So start private messaging drills to me and I will put them up for voting. This will be a work in progress so the bells and whistles will be add-ons and upgrades. Some off the top of my head: -Score keeper -shot...

Ok I am going to change the question. Would you use a pool drill practice app? It would keep track of your progress and have a few other bells and whistles thrown in. To build it I will turn it loose to the group here to come up with the drills and we can vote on the ones we want. I am also open...

Would you use a pool ranking app?

Interesting there are three votes for wanting it... Or are people just messing with me?

Would you use a pool ranking app?

Fargo is not a drill based ranking system... At least it wasn't years ago when Mike Page started it. It was a straight pool switch to rotation game. Unless he has changed it since. I could be wrong...
