Maybe we are approaching this the wrong way. You are not willing to sell the cue at market price if that market price is not to your liking so the question becomes what is your minimum price?

Everyone knows you won't take a nickel less than $18000. If three people tell you it's worth $18000 then you will wait for $20000. Maybe just put it back in the closet and let your heirs deal with it. IMO.

I think "vision center" is overrated. The shot can look straight but that does not mean you will draw the cue back straight.

That's all that matters. Most times you'll get what you can out of a thread after the first 5 or 10 posts, or maybe a week. After that, the thread wanders off to where the wind takes it. If a topic branches off in your thread it isn't really practical to start a new thread to discuss.

Unless he specifically told you that his particular stance led to his back problems, as opposed to simply a lifetime of playing pool and just being alive, I'd say he's doing fine for a 70 year old. It seems a stretch to use him as an example of how a particular stance can cause neck problems...
