My opinion I’d rather out shoot a person but if I can win by fouling an opponent out, I’d do so.

What would you do? Custom 24 month wait or instant Gratification?

I’ve sent my wood to Searing, Mike Bender, Schick, Kiekle, Southwest, John Bender, Dunkel, and some lesser known. Searing was longest but all were worth the wait. I unfortunately only have the Dunkel and Mike Bender. All were worth the wait but at my age now a 12 year wait I might not be around.

When to draw the line with cue maker?

After 6 years I’d ask what he had available and take it. Cue makers (some) have a long waiting list. Southwest last I knew 12 yrs, Herchek 10 yrs, Mike Bender, a friend was 4 yrs. I also was told by a friend Mike was closing his book. I haven’t asked him but makes sense.

What would you do? Custom 24 month wait or instant Gratification?

The only cue maker I ever dealt with that actually was on time was Jerry Rauenzahn. That isn’t a knock on other builders but my experience is you get it when you get it. Having said that they have ALWAYS been worth the wait!!
