Dominant Eye before any aiming system

Because a couple of millimeters at the cueball can mean a 1/4" at the object ball which means you probably missed your shot and you don't understand why you missed it, you think you are doing everything right and you may be doing so, the problem is your cue is not traveling in the path you...

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

It could be but my first experience was to put the shaft directly under my dominant eye, my instructor said you draw the cue ball pretty well, he had me attempt to draw the cueball straight back from one side pocket into the other, every time I did the cue ball went to the right, he said your...

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

That was my experience as well, I started just shooting with my dominant eye over my cue and it was a huge improvement but after a lesson with PBIA billiards instructor Kim Young at Dragon Billiards he fine tuned my vision center, mine is about 1/4" from my nose in the corner of my right eye...

    Dominant eye?

If you learn how YOUR brain perceives what your eye sees you can use it to your advantage, it was the biggest advance in my game and I would never discovered on my own.

    Dominant eye?

John Morra was a champion level player who was left eye dominant but used to shoot right handed, it caused neck pain to the point that he had to quit the game, he spent a couple of years learning to play left handed and is back playing tournaments again, pretty amazing

    Sneak-Peek, Half-CaF Shaft

Looks good, I use Becue cues, they are CF butt and shaft, I would love to hit one Just to see what it feels like, I believe players who like wood but like the benefits of CF would have interest in these.

How Important Is it to Own/Use a Break Cue

If you are only breaking at 15 to 18 mph I would argue that the better transfer of energy a CF shaft provides would help a weak break speed, I know this well....... my break speed sucks

    Pulling the trigger

How old is this kid? If he is very young let him bang the balls around, young kids interested in pool instead of video games ain't a bad thing 😉

    Dominant eye?

One of my friends was a sharpshooter in the military, he is right handed but left eye dominant, you don't choose it, you've heard eye hand coordination but this is not true, it's eye, brain, hand coordination, your eye sends information to your brain and your brain then processes the info and...

How Important Is it to Own/Use a Break Cue

Every missed shot is caused by human error, either by physically missing the target or improperly acquiring the target.

Dynaspheres Tungsten 572 Pool Ball Set

I bought a set too, they were cheap I believe because of the color, the colors never bothered me and they play really well for $70 ball set, they roll very well, if you don't like the colors .....make them disappear into the pockets.......

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

I never played pool until I was 38 years old, I dedicated myself to the pursuit of music, when I did "play" I was horrible, my little sister was better than me, I got interested in the game in the late 90's early 2000's watching ESPN, I loved the beauty and precision of the sport, I played APA...

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

I started playing again after 10 years of not even picking up a cue about 3 years ago, I'm just now STARTING to get a consistent pro like stroke, I think a pro golf and pool strokes are very similar with golf being more complicated to learn but a pro billiard stroke is not easy, especially to...
