I know what you're saying... ;) However wouldn't there a difference between "custom" cue...and a "customized" cue? As someone else stated, it is a matter of semantics. I've had numerous "custom" cues through my hands...but only a few "customized" cues...and a few of those were production...

I totally disagree with getting a new cue right off the bat. I have a Mezz which require their own weight bolt similar to the Adams Balabushka cues. I took my cue to Ace Hardware and found a threaded steel rod that was the same threads in the butt. Bought it, took it home, did the math...

My heart goes out to you and his family. I too have lost a best friend...that was ten years ago...I still tear up sometimes when I think of the loss...but mostly the memories make me smile as I remember all the good times and how he was one of those people who made me want to be a better person.
