Negative. Not the sound of the ball hitting the back of the pocket. But rather the sound the ball makes when it falls down into the rubber pocket. The rubber pockets on my GCIV, that sound is so good.

What is it you want me to take a picture of? Can you give me an example?

Guys, I'm not talking about the pockets themselves. I'm talking about the sound that the balls make when they fall into the rubber pockets. The rubber pockets like the ones on my Gold Crown IV. The only way you get that sound is if instead of nylon/kevlar the balls fall into that rubber pocket.

What good did all this do? It's still a nylon pocket, not the rubber like the Gold Crown IV. I'm lost here........

After having this Diamond Professional for several days now there is one thing that I think would improve the table. Instead of the nylon pockets if it had those rubber type pockets that the Gold Crown IV has that would be awesome. The sound of the balls falling into those rubber pockets just...

I've got two sets of Aramith Crown balls. I believe they are honed to .003 tolerance. I believe the Centennials and Super Pro sets are honed to .001 tolerance. They have in the past used the Crown set in major tournaments. They are a great set for $100.

Plenty bright. Works just fine.

You can see the light I have above the GCIV here. It certainly gets the job done. And the Littman light is way too expensive. Don't want to spend that much $$$.

Does it give you enough light on both ends of your table? And is that an 8-foot or 9-foot table?

Ok, so, now that I have my new Diamond Professional I've come to the conclusion that the light above it pretty much isn't going to get the job done. There are a couple of pics attached. As I've said before, it's a cheap 5-bulb light from Lowes. I don't want to spend a ton of $$$ on a light so...

That's why years ago I had six (6) extra floor joists installed right under where the legs would sit. Never had a problem with the Gold Crown IV not being level. So far so good with the Diamond Professional.

I meant the corners - point to point with a tape measure - are 4.75. The sides - point to point with a tape measure - are 5.0

As I said, the ball measuring system. I placed two balls in the pockets up against the facings. They had about 1/8 of an inch to spare. Which led me to believe they were not 4.75 inch pockets. Same way with the side pockets.

Incorrect

Nothing is wrong with the table. Me and RKC just had a nice little chat about it. And it was three in one day. And then another one today. But I am afraid the bad spreads still might be a problem for me. That's all I can say for now.
