Diamond Professional - One Improvement

Does this wingnut even get it that he's become the laughing stock of AZ? He got his table and he's still whining. Does anyone at this point really give a airborne copulation? I for one don't need a day-by-day rundown of this lame saga.

Shush. Some of us absolutely tremble with anticipation at the thought of opening these threads! Best series of posts since the hundreds of JustinB posts begging for someone to sell him a cue on the cheap, just so he could flip it for a nice profit...AZB legend!

He's still here.

Aside from the shit rush job the balls stop on the end of the ledge before dropping. The guy did this comes recommended by people here and Diamond. 4.5 paid hours each way. He was in a hurry to get done and leave. Also came by himself. I had to help lift the top off.. and I cannot lift. I’m trying to get Zack from Table Fitters to come to Florida. He needs about 10 tables. Look at his FaceBook. If he is not the one to do this right I give up.
Have you tried Tony Crosby's crew out of Spring Hill? Curious as to the quality of their work.

TC does not install anymore personally ...he has a crew. And he pulled a number on the last community I lived at. They bought 4 ProAms from him from a tournament. They included 4 new Tournament Blue 860's that he said he would keep unit they are needed. They are needed and called upon but there has been no recourse..no returned calls...no following up. No nothing...nice business guy to deal with.
Considering the mechanics that I have used and know locally Tony's crew is probably the best around. The rest are hackers and prefer installer for bangers and casual/informal players that do not know the difference.

You referring to me?

Still whining? Where did I whine? All I did was talk about how I thought the table could be slightly improved.

Lame saga? When you get a brand new Diamond Professional for over $11,000 I don't think that's a lame saga.

Sounds like you been listening to the other idiot on here that I have blocked a long time ago.

If you don't need a day-by-day rundown then simply don't read. Looks like all you do is whine.

So, now, let's just let it go..........

Forget about how it breaks..... If you had to pick one.... GC or Professional. I love the Professional but I'll take the Crown4... And I'd still swap the Pro for a GC7 with the right set up person.

If they were both in perfect condition. Same cloth, same room, same balls, etc, etc. In a perfect world I'd take the GCIV.

But, as I've said alot lately, I just don't think my GCIV plays good. Again, not sure why.

So if I - ME - had to choose which one I - ME - would get rid of I would sell the GCIV and keep the Diamond Professional.

👍Can’t go wrong with either.

its all what you are used to and what you prefer. neither is better. all it is is personal opinion.

at one house i have an old ventura 2 brunswick 9 foot. it is a high quality table that looks furniture like besides looks beautiful.
would not trade it out for any other table anywhere. and would recommend it for most any player for his house if he can stand decent sized pockets.

The GC ‘thwap’ sound when a ball is fired in just right… I think that’s what DCP is referring to. It’s glorious and I would not know how to imitate it on a diamond.

Maybe wire up a speaker underneath and some metal contacts in each pocket to play a recording of a GCIV pocket noise… For that matter, you could make it play all sorts of noises. Turn that ish on by a remote. Make your opponent’s pocket play the tuba riff from the price is right. Talk about one hell of a shark move.

I don’t have access to either brand of table. My table has leather pockets with wooden disks at the bottom that I assume are there for the sound they make. Can you post a video of how each of your tables sound?
I don't think we can post a vid here so I can't. Really doesn't effect the play or anything, it's just a solid thwack.

Funny shit...concerned about table sounds. Pool tables are not exactly a sound booth. Put some music on...turn it up and play fkn pool. Just play fkn pool.
