Awesome pick for captain! Nick Varner is a class act and defines the word "heart." He was the player I always tryed to pattern my game after as I was coming up as a young player.
Good Luck Nick! Bring home a title for U.S.A.
Whoever is responsible for putting Earl on the team over Corey should be shot! How can anyone think that Earl gives the USA a better chance of winning? Sounds like a TV ploy for ratings. More people will watch to see if Earl embarasses himself and his country like he did last year!
I'll be there! Arriving on Tuesday to play a few mini's and then playing Scotch with my lovely wife and the Open A singles. Would like to meet you and others from AZB!
I'll be there! Wouldn't mind getting a little of that bankroll. Too bad I didn't know about the weight loss bet, would have taken that down. I've lost 90lbs since last years tournament.
Robin Dreyer in Beaverton, Oregon. I have worked with him for 7 years now. He not only works on mechanics and strategy, but also with the mental game. I am not only a better player, but also a better person having spent the time I have with Robin.
I am planning to have lasik after the first of the year. Glad to hear things went well for you. It will be nice to not have to deal with contacts anymore at tournaments or while gambling.
Hey Big Truck, how long before Glenn makes it North on I-5 to Grants Pass, OR to recover my 9 ft. Pro-Am? I ordered the Simonis HR 860 like Glenn told me and it is waiting here for him.
Glenn set up my 9ft. Diamond Pro-Am two years ago. Am waiting for him to recover it anyday. He said three weeks, three weeks ago, but I suspect another couple of weeks before he gets here. He's worth the wait though!
If I had a dollar for everytime I heard someone say they were never playing 9 ball again because of slop. If you are honest with yourself, you lose many more games due to your errors than you do slop. Slop hurts in tournaments sometimes because it is only one set. I will gamble all day long...
They came through Medford, Oregon and played some challenge games, signed autographs, posed for pictures. Mark and Johnny were very personable and as nice and professional as could be. Earl did some trick shots, I challenge anyone to shoot those wing shots like Earl! It is incredible to...
I bought a 9' Diamond ProAm two years ago and could not be happier! Plus most tournaments are played on Diamonds now because they can set them up so much faster. IMO Diamonds are the most "fair" playing table made.
Do you play in the Western BCA? Their events in Lincoln City would indicate that pool is alive and well in the Northwest! More added money and more players each year.
Pool rooms ae closing all over the nation. It is sad, but the billiard business right now is a tough one. It will turn...
