Glen just called me. He just won the 10 Ball qualifier in Tulsa today!!!!!!
He will be going to the WPA 10 Ball Championship in Manilla!!!!!!

MR. ATWELL. I have known Glen for a long time and he can really play! Congratulations Glen. I would tell him good luck at the WPA in Manilla but he doesn't need any.

He did call me today too, so thanks everyone for helping. I am so proud of him. He should have been doing this years ago!

Glen Atwell has been one of the best kept secrets in pool for a long, long time. The man has always been a "world class" pool player, who could hold his own in any company. Because he labored mainly in the Northwest, he never got the recognition he deserved.

I'm sure Glen would have played more major events over the years, if he had the necessary backing.

Yes, you are right Jay, Glen is a world class player. He deserves this shot in Manilla. He has earned it 10 fold. Win or lose this trip will be an experience he will never forget.

Way to go Glenn! Show them boys in the Phillipines how us guys in the NW do it. You deserve the fruits of your years of hard work.
 
I didn't see Glen's name in the list of players from the US. :confused:

Anybody know why he's not there competing in the 10-ball tournament?

Not sure why but he said he was not able to make the tourney.

This is very disappointing to us peeps up here in the NW who were rooting for Glenn.
