3D Printed One Pocket Ball Rack

I don't think I'll print any more of these. (unless he wants more). They just take way too long, and I was sweating the print failing the whole time. I also don't know how well they will hold up. I designed them thicker than most plastic parts, and the parts were oriented for the most possible...

3D Printed One Pocket Ball Rack

Few more pics: It was very important to me that the balls had zero chance to hit any hardware. I came up with this counter-bored design which is both ball friendly and print friendly. I knew access would be difficult, so I used torx drive screws, so the driver wouldn't slip during...

3D Printed One Pocket Ball Rack

Local room owner asked me to make a one pocket ball holder that the fans can see what the score is on a feature table. We worked together through many iterations to come up with this design. The wooden shelf and black square panel were existing to the room, and the owner wanted the ball holders...

    John Schmidt runs 820

I personally have Shaw at 714 (before he ran the 830 something). I understand all the hoopla about the touched ball and the BCA changing it to 669. Almost the entire country on every tournament plays cb fouls only. I watched his 714 live (the last hour or so), and I bought the zip drive that was...

    My Fargorate progression

That might be the best I played in a long time. I played really good, got some rolls, and he played bad the first half. He did play much better the second half. Won 5-1 Won 5-1 (win match 1) Won 5-1 Lost 2-5 Won 5-3 (win match 2) Won 5-1 (single set only since we had to give up the table for...

    Fargo rate question

Do you play any tournaments? Perhaps one you did poorly in just got added to your FR the same time the league data did? (tournaments usually lag 1-3 weeks, while league data is usually 1 day). If the only new data between yesterday and today were the 5 league matches where you went 5-0, then...

    Fargo rate question

What's your robustness? If it's super low such as under 50, you will probably move a few points every day. If your prior opponents, for example, played bad, they will pull your rating down.

    John Schmidt runs 820

Pretty sure JS or SSOP or whomever said they weren't submitting this for official verification and didn't comb though it yet to see if any OB fouls occurred, and if they did, it wouldn't matter since they were't submitting. (ps, I have Shaw at 714, not 66x or whatever it got reduced to). IMO...

what pros play with maple regular deflection shafts ?

The more accurate statement would be "there are plenty of players that try to put the CB where it doesn't need to go". It won't go to the same place with a different amount of english.

10 best players in the world

Another one is Busty. I doubt he was at the top of any "tour" list. But he was probably the best 1-3 player in the world for 10 years.

10 best players in the world

The "tour" ratings were never correct in the history of the sport, because they reward participation. WPA rewards it even more than WNT because it gives points for showing up, WNT only does if a player cashes. Nothing is more accurate than FargoRate. Nothing is even close.

Class Move by Tyler Styer in Iowa, 10 Ball Showdown , against Justin Bergman

Sorry if Bob or anyone else here wrote the WPA rules, but why are they written so poorly/ambiguously. In this "calling obvious shots" case, the CSI rules are so clear for what must be called, while the WPA leaves one scratching their head. Same thing for the push and double hit shots from last...

Class Move by Tyler Styer in Iowa, 10 Ball Showdown , against Justin Bergman

Kazakis and his opponent both just did the same. But sort of opposite. Kazakis had a brain fart and thought the opponent didn't hit the lowest ball, and grabbed the cb for bih. Opponent said he hit it (he did). Ref awarded opponent bih. Opponent put cb where Kazakis picked it up from, and told...

Bob: next rewrite of any rule set you are part of.... please at the very top write: "Don't be a nit. This supersedes anything else in this document."

Class Move by Tyler Styer in Iowa, 10 Ball Showdown , against Justin Bergman

Kind of dumb if you ask me that 8 ball is no called shot, but 10 ball is. I love that they made 8 no-called. It makes it way more aggressive, and we see hail mary shots. To take that away from a rotation game of 10 ball seems ass backwards. Plus, they went a step further and have the nit rules...

    Here Are Some Pics

There is no way for the pockets to be non-symmetrical. They have a sanding disk on a miter saw set at a fixed angle. After the cushions are glued to the rails and roughly cut to length, the entire rail assembly is brought up against the sanding disk which gets them to the exact angle. I saw this...

That's the brand new barbox (not released yet) designed similar to the GC7, correct? The pocket fit into the casting looks like the GC7.

Are they adding/changing from 8 ball to 10 ball? Or was it just a one-off thing?
