    Since the balls used in Russian pyramid are bigger are the rails higher up than a standard snooker table? I'm curious if for practice, I can just buy the pyramid balls and use a standard snooker table and it will react the same as in a Russian pyramid tournament? Thanks! Nostrovia.

    No. It's the Vernon Eliot bank. Both balls are frozen to the same long rail.

    I'm looking for video of the spot shot with the cue ball in the foot corner and shooting object ball off the spot into the opposite bottom corner. Also the Vernon Elliot bank where both balls are frozen on the long rail and the OB goes cross corner. I've got the side pocket version. Thank you all!

    Can a soft tip be hardened while on the shaft?

    A soft tip will is less prone to miscue and will hold chalk better though. I think Hard tips are good for break cues.
