    CARBON SHAFT AND TALCUM POWDER

Been looking for this since saw Corey use one. I actually thought it a hard tube, not spandex. Now, I'm wondering how long one lasts.

    McDermott Barretta series

Was about to buy one of these, but research has me on hold. Can anyone verify these cues were decal. Also, were they all modified radial pins? McDermott has always been a 3/8×10 to me, and decals make me wonder if this cue is worth $200. Over the last 20 years, I know many here have shot with...

    Best break cue

If your tip won't hold chalk, I have found Kamui . 98 works on phenolic. The best tip for control and hit imo is the Kamui Sai. I use the .98 on it, too In my bar box leagues, I have at least one 9ball break of five balls each of the last three weeks. And, my second ball break in eight ball...

    My new cf shaft

The cf shafts performed well enough that I ordered a 5/16×14. It played fine, but I preferred the smaller pin. I compared the shafts over several butts to reach that conclusion, so when an old Adam/Helmstetter with a larger joint diameter showed up I ordered another. My new Tickle is 11.8mm...

    Reason for “expensive “ chalk

The comments, before AO brought up chalk, were about rain and humidity. This I understood as I think a skid is when the CB slides on the cloth rather than rolling. What I did not understand was how the CB jumped off the bed when it contacted the ob. Also, CB hopped once when it contacted the...

    Phenolic cue tips

Kamui Sai tip. The chalk should be inspected before breaking, as well. When I used an original Sledgehammer, the chalking was more like moving dust around and around. Recently, I got an Avid (3/8×14) shaft. Decided to try it with a Sai tip. It worked well, but showed a big improvement when I...

    Best break cue

For league, I use a Sledgehammer. Phenolic works fine. But, for control on the break, I think the Sai from Kamui works great. I got an Avid shaft in a deal here, and I put a Sai on it to see how it would work as a breaker. Much more control

Luck vs Skill Percentage - What Do You Think?

I was presented a shot in which 9 was just off the rail 1 1/2 diamonds above the corner and the current object ball was an inch above the nine. I knew a bank into the rail would go in the opposite side pocket if the nine went from the long rail to the half diamond on the short rail. I got lucky
