    Gold Crown 6100

Thanks for the quick education. If I do get this table, do I need to transport the slates upright or is it safe to lay them down in the bed of my pickup? They were professionally crated when disassembled. Tim

    Gold Crown 6100

1st thanks for all the input. If I do make a deal on this table, can the slates which are crated in wood, be transported flat or do they need to be moved on edge upright? Tim

    Gold Crown 6100

Obviously you think it's no good at any price. Can I ask why?

    Gold Crown 6100

How will I know if it's brunstone or slate? and also how will I know if everything is a matched set? From the pictures, which I'm deft at attaching, looks like things are in very good condition. What would be a good price range assuming it needs new felt and most likely rubber? Oh and thanks for...

    Gold Crown 6100

I have an appointment to look at the above table next week. Would like some advice on what I should look for, be aware of, and questions to ask. The table is a 9 footer and has been professionally disassembled. This is from a private party. TIA Tim

I think it was cursive. Not 100% sure though. Would that make a difference? Thanks, Tim

The guy was asking $500 for it. While it is a nice stick, I'll pass on it Thanks for helping avoid over paying for it.

    Older Meucci?

During league last night, one of the fellows is selling an older Meucci. He thinks it was made in the early 80's and has been in his possession for many years. It's been a player and is in darn good condition. In looking through the cue archives (thanks cuenut) it closely resembles an 84-5 or a...

    About pool cue straightness?

I may not have the experience or multi thousand dollar cues like the rest of you, and I get the feeling that it is beneath most of you guys to answer a lot of the newbies questions around here. I am also confused at the multitude of threads on this forum about "the sad state of pool". But how...

💡 8-ball should be the game. POINT, BLANK, PERIOD!!

I too would like the game explained. Unfortunately I had to scroll through 5 pages of bickering just to find out nobody feels like enlightening us.

    Pocket chalker

I trimmed the rubber down so it only holds on to the bottom half of the cube. Works well for my GF. Me, I just put it in my pocket.

Help returning to the game after shoulder surgery

6 months for full recovery DO YOUR EXERCISES most important part. I would think that breaking would be the only stress on your shoulder. I completely ripped my tendon off the bone and had to have 3 anchors put in shoulder and reattached. Your therapist will give you all the info you need.
