I like the look of a Ivory ferrule , it stays cleaner and that creamer color looks cool as it ages. Problem is Ivory is 2 high price wise. What material would be the next to ivory, that would give a similar look and also stay cleaner. Thanks.

Yes it did. I had the guy who does my work cut it down for me to 12.5. I also had him put a triangle tip as well. 13 just seems like it glides slower thru my hand for some reason. You would not think a half of a inch makes a huge difference but it seems to fit my hand better or at least it does...

12 to 12.5. Anything over 12.5 seems to slow me down. I have big hands tho. But if prefer a 12.5 with a long pro taper.

Cocobolo , I did and it’s Sharp. Very nice and I have had several comments on it about how nice it looks.

2nd this. I got the Cocobolo version and I really like it. It is a beautiful cue to and plays very nice. A friend got one and after playing with his I ordered one myself. You cannot go wrong with it or the price.

I use standard shafts to and 12.5 is what I prefer. I guess all mine are Maple. My Son plays with a Meucci Ultimate Weapon Pro that is L/D. It does play nice , I believe it is a 11.75
