WORLD 10 BALL CHAMPIONSHIP (28March-1April2022), Las Vegas, Winner $60K

I thought he played well, but what he really did well was PUNISH Big Ko for his two silly mistakes --those two scratches cost him the match. First scratch was when he was up 4-2 and running out and had careless scratch. Sigel used to call those kind of mistakes Mr. Carless when he would do it...

Entertaining match with Sigel vs Earl 14.1

I couldn't watch any of these videos. Both Players were mere shadows of their former selves. When Sigel was in his prime his Straight Pool game was a thing of beauty. I rather remember him playing at the Roosevelt than this spectacle.

    Sigel vs Varner

Agree. The interview is great. Anytime you get Sigel talking about pool it's terrific. Varner too for that matter.

Attention Jay Helfert. Got a question for you.

Brett and Griffey were great players, but no one hit for average and power like Wiliams. He also missed 6 prime years due to service in WWII and Korea.

Shane losing his #1 Fargo spot

Thanks for the list Stu. You're absolutely right about SVB. We are used to him winning tournaments where he goes deep in the field, but over the past few years this has not been the case. He just hasn't been closing the way he and we are accustomed to .

When is a table too fast?

I recall in an interview years ago with Nick Varner where he said when they switched to the fast cloth it was a big adjustment for him. He had to start bunting the ball around the table. Players of his generation-Sigel, Miz, Rempe, Hopkins, etc--all learned on the heavy cloth and you needed a...

Predator/CSI World 10-Ball in March - Spectator Info?

I know CSI promotes the world 10-ball as a free spectator event for BCA League Members, but are their any other options if you're not a BCA League member and just want to go in person to watch? Do they sell tickets in advance? Reserved or Stadium seating? I have never seen any information from...

No one cares about Fargo Rate. How many Major Tournaments have you won in the Calendar Year?

How straight did (does) Buddy shoot?

I recall Buddy saying on an Accu Stats tape no one shot as straight as Mike Sigel. That's good enough for me.
