Mark Wilson Pool Clinc on YouTube

I agree 1000%. I'm of the belief that nobody can make you good or great. All they can do is point you in a direction that allows you to improve. I believe Mark is probably the most sought after pool coach in the US. He like any good coach understands that there are exceptions to every rule...

    Rasson vs Diamond

Oh, I agree with your assessment...in general. The OX I played on played a little easier, but it may have been set up differently or I may have just played better that particular day. Thanks for the info. Jeff

The path to pool progress leads beyond the four rails

If a person isn't 100% there....well, their performance will suffer. ^^^^^^^is true for everything in life. OP: your post is a good reminder to anyone thats ever bent over to shoot and let a passing thought enter the equation and not ....stop....stand up.....and start over.....instead they...

    Rasson vs Diamond

The first Rasson I played on accepted balls way to easy. The OX I played in was little better, but to me, it still accepted balls that normally stand up on diamonds with very similar playing conditions (cloth, balls and room condition). I did notice the shelf on the OX. I didn't measure it...

Mark Wilson Pool Clinc on YouTube

That's true but, there are many variables that can and do matter more to some than others. For example, when a person holds the cue to their side while letting it swing into place. Well, if they don't relax their shoulders enough it will cause them to get to close or go across the line. If...

Mark Wilson Pool Clinc on YouTube

Seth, There are several pros that step on the line more times than not...just like there are lots of pros that have a very short pause at the back of stroke. The average pro may pause ~1+ but there are way more pros that are closer to 1 flat or less.

Mark Wilson Pool Clinc on YouTube

I'm a fan of Efren. I also like to follow Mark and his thoughts. Having said that, I'm not a fan of the don't worry about comfortable. Ive never seen a stronger pro that looked uncomfortable. As a matter of fact, I'm 100% sure that they were comfortable. Yep, most of them spent many hours...

    Tip consensus. Soft -Medium-Hard

Your entire post can be answered by you and you alone. The only thing anyone can say is.....this is what "I" like and here is why "I" like it. Only advice I have is try other people's cues to see if you like the tip they have on their cues. BTW, try to pick cues that are as similar to yours...

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

Putting the player and equipment comparison aside, I'm :shocked2: to know that anyone would sign such an agreement to the tune of $1,000,000. I always thought when someone said "pool nuts" that it was just a phrase, nothing more. Well, now it's been confirmed, there are players that are...

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

I agree that if someone is truly worried about the run being up to their standards, they should make the trip and see the vid. Thing is, I don't know even one person that's willing to pay for: Fight there and back Hotel room Rental car Eats and miscellaneous cost Lets not forget the $50 to...

Good shooting. As for your 9 ball break questions. Do a vid of you doing this: Rack the balls like this with 1 ball on spot. Make sure the rack is straight. Use a template if possible. Also, make sure the balls are clean but not polished slick. ................1 ..............6..3...

    Is there a safety here?

I understand what your saying and yes, a person can play safe to a point to where they can't win. You have to know when to hold em....and fold em.. All I know is that I have went toe ro toe with josh Roberts, Danny Smith, Casper, Warren K, Hennessy and lots more mid-level to lower-level pros...

Where are all the Kamui Chalk Warriors these days?

Currently I'm playing 0 time. I went to the table today and shot the safety shot on 8 ball from other thread but after about 15 minutes my back waz toast. To answer your questions: Before my rods and screw broke in my back I would run drills for 4 or 5 hours and then have free play (ghost...
