I like call shot. But I like the rule that says that if you miss the called ball the opponent has the option of making you shoot again. It is super annoying when your opponent miss his shot and leaving you snookered... He messed up, he should be the one who has to get out of the mess he made...

Looks like they are playing with the "3 balls pass the head string" rule. In order for the break to be legal 3 balls must pass the head string (balls pocketed count as balls passed). So, in order to maintain control over the table you must pocket at least 1 ball and have 2 balls pass the head...
