Same here, but it was funny and that's mostly because it hardly made any sense.
Wasn't he on a reality show? Little people or something?

Sir, they won the Cup. What were they supposed to say?
"We were awful, we can't pot a ball, you were better and we don't know how he won"??? Of course they are gonna say "we are the best"...

In your video "proving" that the Europeans were disrespectful you showed captain Chamat saying to the Asian players to watch out. Then you showed Barry Hearn, and one commentator (forgive me but i can't remember his name right now). Those last 2 don't even represent the European team! Like... the commentator is from Canada if i remember correctly!! How does he represent Team Europe??

Judging from the tone of your voice in your video you are absolutely devastated by this event... Let me give you a tip: Calm down man, don't take everything so seriously. It's just a sporting event, don't give it so much value that this ruins your day. You weren't even playing man, other people did. You didn't loose absolutely nothing (unless you had a bet on team USA).
Well - I'm really disappointed in Europe's take on the #Mosconi Cup and their post-game celebration.
I don't think it should be part of your celebration to scream about how American pool-players cannot challenge you and how you're going to have to go to the Philippines to find some competition.
You won and you should be happy without telling America that we're disposable and can't compete.
This Event was named after an AMERICAN player - not a European player, and we'll be back!

They were saying it didn't happen.
It did happen.
No --- what they did after this event is horrible and completely disrespectful to the American players. It's also very arrogant.
You can celebrate without telling the world that America sucks so you have to go to Asia.
Sorry --- you can kiss European ass all day - it's not going to change how I feel about this.
Yes - I am devestated. I'm an American, 100% in the corner of Americans (pool-players and otherwise). I'm also a sports-fan and I know what sportsmanship is.
I applaud Europe for their talent - but it's simply NOT the time to play "kick the dog."
WE CAN COMPETE... We have proven it over, and over and over, and we'll do it again.
These last 2 days, even in my pool room (somewhere in europe) everyone was rooting for the USA team JUST because we wanted to see more pool, and not finish the even a day early. I am sure that this was the case with a lot of the european fans.
I went with a more polite answer in my previous post, but dude, chill...
So you will just ignore that those things that were said that hurt you weren't even said by people that represent the european team??
The Canadian commentator does NOT represent the European Team. He is just a commentator. If I play someone and then the commentator says that I wasn't good enough, I'm not gonna blame the guy that beat me and say that he is disrespectful... This doesn't even make sense man...
Barry Hearn does NOT represent the european team. He represents the money that this even brings to him and his company. He will do anything that will bring him more money. These last 2 days, even in my pool room (somewhere in europe) everyone was rooting for the USA team JUST because we wanted to see more pool, and not finish the even a day early. He wants to have more people glued to their screens because that generates more money for him and his company.
Let me ask you this. If in your local pool hall you play with a guy and you win him 7 consecutive times, once 11-2, another 11-3, what will you do? Don't you wanna play with someone else to test yourself??
Barry obviously heard that, and he thought "you know what? maybe they want to see another event too, with the european team against an asian team!" It was not said that the Mosconi cup will not continue, or that the USA will not take part in it from now on, they said that they are thinking about a new event.
Paint the letters in your answers whatever color you like and have them as big as you want, but you are crying for something completely ridiculous...
No - I don't go in front of a GLOBAL audience and tell them that my opponent sucks so I'm going to look for a better one.
I tell them the truth and say that my opponent is better than what he/she displayed here and he/she wouldn't be here if they weren't great.

We didn't play horrible.... we got some shit-rolls, we were being sharked by 2,000 idiots and were weren't born into a supportive country.
All ten of those players knows what it's like to lose and they should remember that while they're telling our players that they suck so they're going to Asia.
Go Big-Orange!

Are you a moron, John? I'm not saying that you are, I'm just asking, because based on your posts, there's a good chance that you might be.
NOBODY on the European team "screamed about how American pool players cannot challenge you". Not a single one. This has been pointed out to you in this thread already, and you've clearly watched the footage a few times, so if you believe that they did, you might be a moron.
NOBODY on the European team said that the USA team was "disposable and can't compete". The word "disposable" isn't said a single time in your video - even by the people who aren't on the European team. Do you understand why saying that they did will make the reader of your posts question your mental capacity?
In fact, the only person that represented the European team in that video, was Marcus, who said that his team was the best in the world and that he was willing to play an Asian team to prove it. You haven't included it, but he also very deliberately made a point of saying that the USA team was great, that he knew how hard they worked and that they would bounce back. As is traditional when the victors compliment their opponent, a round of appreciative applause broke out, yet some of the American team did not join in - very disrespectful! I wonder if you will criticise them as harshly?
I'm American and I really don't care who wins. I say whomever played the best should win and it happened to be the Europeans.
And everybody keeps saying "we" lost. I don't remember losing anything...I didn't even play.
The same goes for football, baseball, basketball and whatever. If I ain't playing, I didn't lose anything. I'm just a spectator watching a game.
The only time I get concerned about losing at pool is when I'm playing and there is money involved.
It's just a game. Don't get so excited about it.
Are you a moron, John? I'm not saying that you are, I'm just asking, because based on your posts, there's a good chance that you might be.
Well that's a bit selfish, eh bloke?
After all - the team's label is the USA. Are you not a USAian?
Anyhow.... I got me some new chaps and it's time to say "nitey!"
Tomorrow I'm going to pot me some balls and look for the bloody blue-spot.
Big, colorful-text to all of you!
Nitey-nite now.
Kinda stings a little but lets be honest, its the truth. I'm all about America winning but we just don't look like the big table player's of old. Everything about them is better.
On a bar table, we'd kick the crap out of them.
I confirm. I'm all for Europe, but me and others at the club we found ourselves rooting for the USA side plenty of times the last 2-3 years. Even the crowd at the Ally Pally were starting to root a bit for USA, in case you didn't notice.
