if you dont play it and cant watch onepocket

Personally I think a lot of players are almost totally offensive minded and can't adapt to or appreciate a well played one pocket shot were you don't make a ball. Love the game and play it every day.

    New Diamond Table

Very nice, the one regret I have about relocating to southern AZ is that it's almost impossible to find a house most people can afford with room for a pool table. I do miss my old Anniversary that I had in IL.

    Anybody miss....

Absolutely, and the podcasts with Mark G. were pretty good too.

    The new Aramith tournament balls

If Matchroom thought these were such a good idea maybe it's time to change the colors of the snooker balls. Like to see how that would go over.

    The new Aramith tournament balls

I had a hard time with these balls, maybe my old eyes are the problem, the dark balls were hard to tell apart. I had thought there would be an improvement when they went to the tv table from how they looked at Griff's. For me there was very little improvement.

Preferred Cloth Color For Tournament Tables

We even changed our 10' snooker table to blue, that's what the players wanted. I would say we don't really have snooker players more like pool players on a snooker table.

Preferred Cloth Color For Tournament Tables

Tournament blue. We had all our tables done in blue and there was only one complaint. Doubt if we would ever go back to green.

    The new Aramith tournament balls

If they were trying to make it easier to see on TV it was a total fail. Might be better on a table specifically lit for TV, but that was not the case at Griff's. Personally don't like them at all. Good thing is I'll probably never have too play with them

    one pocket rule ?

Sure sounds like our room, we have a local rule that you only break from the left side, happened due to the short memory of one of the original 1P players, he's gone now but the "rule" hangs on. We also had a marker for him to indicate his pocket. All that aside he was a pretty good player and...

A new low in "TV colors": a pink 4 and purple 5 ball

I watched some of the matches and had a bit trouble with the colors, seemed to me the tables were under lit. Too me the 9 ball looked a bit wacky. Personally I prefer light color balls, probably just an age thing. I do have a set of the Aramith tv balls and like them.

No, Most people do not want to play pool on big pockets.

Sorry, not the Bob you are thinking of, moved from NW IL to AZ last year. Just play at our rec center now.

No, Most people do not want to play pool on big pockets.

If I were buying a new Diamond table I probably would go for the 4 3/4" over the 4 1/2". Age is a factor, I have played on both and can deal with the smaller pockets but anything under 4 1/2" is too small for me and probably most of the guys I play, all seniors.

    NEW Mezz line....................

Yes, the lock up is very good, can also use some OB shafts (5/16x14). I don't know how different the wavy would be.

    NEW Mezz line....................

Love my EC7, if I ever get another cue it probably would be the wrap less EC9.

    Rule question

Thanks Bob, situation came up yesterday and we were not sure how to handle it.

    Rule question

Touching ball. Cue ball is touching a color and you need to shot a color. Can you designate another color for the shot? Example touching the black but designates the blue, is the legal? I understand you cannot move the black. Thanks

    Redesigning the 15 billiard balls

At my age and with my existing eye sight I wouldn't mind having the normally dark balls a lighter shade. Might also be due to the lighting in our room, but edges of dark balls at a distance are tough to see. My game is one pocket.

    American 14.1.................

Have watched a couple of the matches, good stream. Even the wife watched and she's not a player. Only possible negative is the room is so dark you can't hardly see the players, nothing the streamer can do about that.
