I might try to do that, next time. When my trip got rescheduled, it shrank. I tried to say that above, but didn't think I did a very good job. I won't have time to stop while I'm there this time, after all.

Too bad... I'll be in the Shreveport area, this weekend. Would have been glad to stop in and meet some folks. Was originally planning to be there around the 30th, but that plan got canned. My trip got a little smaller, as well as re-scheduled, so I'm going on limited time. Maybe next time...

Amazingly enough, the pics of him breaking impressed him, at first. Then, he realized how much extra ooomf he was using that he didn't really need to use and starting to get some idea why the cue ball tends to leave the table so often on his break. As you know very well, it's a process. And...

We've been discussing it and he's been working on it even harder since the challenge. He's had that break ever since he was about 13 or 14, from my memory. Always off the table on the right side. Not hard to wonder where NOT to stand when he breaks. lol...

Josh is trying to tone down his breaks. Before the match, almost all his breaks resulted in someone chasing a cue ball. That one day helped bring his "still-on-the-table" percentage up quite a bit. :thumbup:

It was great, actually. The guys had fun, we gave away a few door prizes, etc., etc., etc.. Also, the guys' games definitely upped a notch from playing so intently. Who wouldn't want a fun, yet rather intense match, like that?
