The key is not to stretch the cloth so tight that the cushion edge compresses. I did a YouTube video on no-fold bar rails 11 years ago. Nothing has changed.

The rails look to be particle-board. It doesn't appear to be worth the cost of replacing the laminate (if you could find it). IMO, clean it up best you can, replace the cloth and see how it plays. This may be the table you have here.

Colors changed only on the Aramith Black Set. The rest of the world still uses an orange 5 and purple 4. I personally dislike the look of the black set but that's JMO.

Simonis is sold worldwide so they are still playing in catch-up mode to dealers around the globe. When a U.S. dealer actually gets some tourny blue or some of the other colors it would be gone in a flash to back orders.
