    Insurance value for this Cue?

The case is probably worth just as much as the cue. Maybe $400 for the set, for insurance purposes.

    Ripped off?

Couple points: Straight, as a term used in pool cues, is subjective. How many shafts have you turned on a lathe and they run 100% true. I have shafts from all over and none of them are 100% true. So, what was defined as "dead straight"? Does the shaft have a taper roll? Does it look like a...

    cue maker question

The easiest choice is most often overlooked. Do the above and this thread becomes moot. Especially, if it's true that you no longer want the cue. The only problem you then my run into is if the refund is refused. That, would warrant a thread.

The above from his unedited post. Do you contribute anything of value, or just "bust" on people threads? See what I did there? "Bust", as in "Buster be bust'n" as you like to say.

JB Custom Cases - which one would you get?

Tate, I like the "Chas" one better; with the forward handle. Makes for easier carry. My cases always end up being canted like that when I carry them, if you know what I'm trying to say. I think the forward handle is more ergonomic. I just don't like the cut of that closure. That's the only...
