The way I understand it, is that the balls were being damaged by G10 which is not phenolic, but fiberglass. White diamond tips, as well as any other melamine tips would be ok.

I agree with you on the breaking aspect Eric. I think that jumping is where most of the benefit of synthetic tips comes from. Tiger hard, Super Pro and some of the other hard layered tips work pretty well for jumping too.

Just wanted to know the percentage of bridge hand vs. grip hand chalking preference. There was in fact not a poll recently. The thread you are referring to asked about avoiding excess chalk on the shaft. Sorry if you are having a bad day, next time I will check with you before...
