    Mosconi Cup rack rules?

These are the years that Rodney was in the cup (according to Wikipedia) and who the winning team was. The 9-ball on the spot rule went into effect in 2007: 2003 - USA 2004 - USA 2005 - USA 2006 - Tied 2007 - Europe 2008 - Europe 2010 - Europe 2011 - Europe 2013 - Europe

    Mosconi Cup rack rules?

My reply was focused more on answering the poster's original question as to "why" the 9-ball was on the spot - or rather, how that came to be. I wouldn't disagree with your assessment about why team USA hasn't been winning, but I did have a high-level conversation with Mark Wilson about a month...

    Mosconi Cup rack rules?

I was watching the fairly new Rodney Morris instructional video the other day, Rocket's Science. Here is what he had to say about it: To paraphrase, Rodney indicated in the several years he played, the US team won every time. The 1-ball was on the spot, the breaker would pocket a ball and...

Mystery Box (for those don't know now you do)

I think "said player" gave some back story on events that lead up to this match on one of his road stories DVDs. Love the video - thanks for the great post!

Scotch Doubles order of play question

Depends on the rules of that specific tournament. Typically it would be the player whose turn it is to shoot next (Player A in your scenario), but not always.

    White Lines?

I believe another term for it is "dress-makers pencil." You can get them at Walmart in the craft section for about $1.50 each. Coupled with a straight-edge, they can be very useful.

    VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS - June 28th~Sept 1st

It is pretty decent - it allows smoking, but it doesn't bother me too much. It has a bar, but no food. They keep the tables up and the staff is cool. Another plus - it is 5 minutes from my house.

Are you still improving or has your game leveled off ?

Glad you posted this. I've been playing about 5 years now and have reached the upper skill levels of my TAP and APA leagues. I have between 10-20 hours a week that I devote to practice and I play league twice a week. I pick up a tournament here and there as time permits. I seem to be stuck at...

    Diamond Pool Table from Factory

I ordered a Diamond last year in mid-summer (July) and it took a little longer than what they had said it would. I also ordered a couple of chairs at the same time and didn't get them until like October or November. The ones that had come in had a small crack in one of the arms. It wasn't...
