Recently, I saw Efren making a few shots during a tournament in Japan. I noticed the table had white rails with green cloth but that is not the question. The table had a White line across the headstring and a white line going from the middle diamond (Site) on the foot end to the spot area. I understand the purpose of these markings but I noticed they were very bright and looked perfectly straight. Is it likely that they were done with actual paint? It did not look like chalk as it did not seem to have any over spray or smearing going on. I would wonder if paint or something like a sticker might effect ball roll. What do you all think of the table marking concept?

Paint would be a bit tough to use since it's slick and would throw off shots that happen to fall on those lines. Yes there is a big area of no lines, but as we all know if there is a 1/4 inch place you can place a cueball that is horrible and 1,000 square inches where it's good, you know where the cueball will go
I'd use a marker if anything.
They make cloth markers for sewing. That would be my guess

I think sometimes they actually do it with correction fluid (Wite-Out).
Sharpie makes a white paint marker with an extra fine tip that would probably work great:
