I agree with the three replies you have gotten so far. A small price to pay to protect your expensive cues from damage. One more thing that hasn't been said is that they also protect the top cover of your case. Constant contact from the pin on your cue to the padding will eventually poke a hole...

No offense but with that much RED...I would be nervous to deal these cues.

A friend of mine has this cue made by McDermott in the nineties. It was a custom order by my friend, I apologize for the bad photo's. The cost for this cue was over $1000 originally. Anyone ever seen or know the model number of it. The white is ivory. Stainless Steel joint and McDermott quick...

That looks to be a 3K-3 which sold for $695.00 back in the day. Nice looking Production cue.

Close up shots of the joints, butt, ring work etc might give the AZ experts here a better shot at identity. Post some more pictures and I am sure someone here can help.
