I don't have much on the way of knowledge or expertise on the subject. I like to practice with a measles ball to study my stroke and amount of English I apply...but for game play, I like a straight white cue ball.

Installed one on my Dan Dishaw cue yesterday and played a few racks. I thought it glued up and cut fine. Easy to install. Very good burnish and shaped up easily. Shot a few racks, I found the hit to be solid, held chalk well, and no mushrooming to speak of, even though I only played a few hours...

Tom...there will always be someone who needs to complain about anything but their own short comings. I have installed many of your tips on my league players cues. Not one complaint, not one. And you know how cheap league players can be...lol. Don't change a thing.

Hey scsuxci, thanks for the update....man it really sucks large when you know the players involved are the scumbags....cant trust anyone these days. Hope you are well...we should shoot a few racks some day...just to make me remember how good a player you always have been and are. :)

Pawn shop owner sounds like a real scum bag...so glad the owner got his cues...at least that is a very happy ending.

Awesome historic cue sir, good luck with your sale, if it were mine, I would keep it in the family for sentimental reasons, but someone is going to get a piece of history for a great price.

Blue Hog nailed it...polite or not...a "taper roll" is a roll that is NOT "dead nuts" straight...no other explanation. I call em as I see em...same as Blue Hog. Either its straight...or NOT.
