I know a 9 feet table is the normal way to go but are there games (8-ball, 9-ball, one pocket, straight 14.1,...) that play better on a smaller table? Or is it that 9 ft is the best size for all pool games?

Hello, I'm planning on buying a new pooltable and I've found one I really like. Only thing is the cloth. According to the store it's a "tournament" type cloth and judging by the look and feel, it's indeed a really fast and decent cloth. The brand and type mentioned by the owner is "Partner PNS...
