I’m considering purchasing the cue pictured below. The description says the handle is black painted maple. If the cue was ever damaged and had to be recoated, would the handle have to be repainted?

Can any of you guys recommend someone in the Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange Texas area who works on tips and shaft reconditioning?

Is there more work involved or cost in making a wrapless cue compared to one with a wrap. I noticed a few production cues that had wrap/wrapless options and the wrapless one was more.
