Sometimes when you most relaxed you play better pool

Today - I was practicing a little, I broke and made a stripe and looked at the table and said this is a great layout for an easy runout. So I did and made the rest of the stripes and the eight. I thought I should just shoot the rest of the solids and I did. Okay I ran 15 balls and didn't...

Cut Shots - Do you use Center of Cue Ball or Edge of Cue Ball for alignment to the Object Ball or Both

I have been observing sometimes that a less than full to half of a Cut on the Object Ball, I use the Center of the CB to the imagined contact point on the Object Ball. But on thin Shots it seems easier to see or imagine the Edge of the Cue Ball striking the Object Ball on a Cut Shot. What do...

Anyone have a compound taper SHAFT not the BUTT

My Viking Cue has a 12.25 mm shaft that narrows to 11.5 mm and then back to 12.25 mm at the tip. I am wondering should I change out for a 12mm or 11.75 mm protaper shaft or should I go down to 11.5 mm or go up to 12.25 mm. Just need some ideas [emoji362] and some reasons for your recommendation...
