    Identifying old Brunswick cloth

A friend of mine has a mid-90's Brunswick Mission. He bought it new from a well-known dealer in Dallas, probably Billiards and Barstools. The original cloth has lasted thru 3 moves over the years, but now has enough wear to need replacing. He wants the same cloth, but my experience is limited...

    Dimension of K66 vs K55

Did someone post on here not long ago, that a K66 measures 2 inches from the cushion nose to the point where the cloth exits the feather strip and K55 measures 2 1/8? I have tried to find that post, but can't. So pardon me if the topic has been discussed before. Thanks. jfe

    Requesting info on GC 1

Does anyone know for sure when 8 foot Pro tables were offered in the Gold Crown 1 series? I see in Brunswick's archives that the 1961 catalog showed 44 x 88 and 50 x 100. I do know with some certainty that my OS-8 was present in the original owner's house in 1967, but the source of that info...

Pivots Different for Same Side Cuts

In Stan's video, Landon is shooting cuts to the right at elapsed time 22:35 and 22:54. In the first cut, from position 23/15, he calls for a manual RIGHT pivot. In the second cut to the right, from position 31/23, he calls for a manual LEFT pivot. I'm confused. Both are cuts to the right...

    Sport King and Anniversary Rails

Gentlemen, With the exception of the rail counters and Brunswick badges, are Sport King and Anniversary rails and rail castings identical? From photos, I see that everything below the bottom edge of the rail is obviously different, but the topsides of both tables look remarkably similar...

Identification of 1961 Gold Crown Ball Set

Hello to all. Recently, I acquired a very nice Gold Crown I table. The gentleman I got it from knows its history back to the mid sixties, when the second owner got it. He thinks this ball set may be the original that came with the table, and possibly dates back to 1961-1965. Can any of you...

    GC III Rail Counter Disassembly

As usual, I was in a hurry to refinish a counter face plate. Instead of posting here and asking how to disassemble the counter, I just tried to mask it off. After ruining a couple of the number wheels, I discovered I had a punch that was the perfect size to push the wheel axle out of the...

    GC III Counters Too High

Gentlemen, I just picked up an old GC II or III. The rail counters sit proud of the rail. There is a gap between the top of the rail and the counter rim about the width of a nickel. I can push the counter housing down into it's proper place, but it springs back up immediately. The table is...

    Cutting Cushions Accurately

Can anyone tell me what process the big table manufacturers use to cut the precise angles and bevels for factory installed cushions? Don't mean to step on any toes here, so if that info is a trade secret, then I will certainly understand. Otherwise, thanks for any help. jfe
