Ok, for starters, no jokes about the title! I'm fairly good at kick shots,and decent at jumping. But when those two options aren't good, I think tying up balls to prevent a run is the way to go. Its a great skill that I dont have much knowledge of. Suggestions on rules of thumb for this?

I don't know if there's a rule for this, but can you contact your opponents ball for the first shot (breakshot) instead of the red? Not sure there is even a viable shot off of yellow first.

Is there any other way to keep track of your performance during a game? Most of of the tournaments list average and high run. Is there any other measurable quantity that we can use to see if we've improved from game to game? Thanks for the thoughts.

I was thinking of getting a 9' pocket table and build a rail conversion for 3c (not just pocket inserts). Anyone have any experience in doing this or opinion on how it might play different from the normal carom table? Thanks for sharing.

Hey AZB, Pocket billiards has tons of drills suggested, but I don't know of many in Carom. I normally might drill making the break shot, but aside from that I don't have one. Suggestions?

Hey AZBers, Anyone have a good idea how to get the dings out? I've been using the RX Cue Doctor Dent buffer. Its been ok, but I would like to know how anyone else does it. It works well with my standard shafts, but not so well with my LD shafts. I have an OB1. Thanks in advance.

Hey all, I played tons of carom back in NYC, but since moving down to Jacksonville, FL., I've haven't been able to play. None of the halls I visited had a table! That is, until recently. Billiardfactory on University put up a table. Not sure how many other players/fans of carom are down...

Hey AZBers, I've been using the Magic rack, and I like it. I've only been having issues taking it with me in my case. Anyone have ideas about how to store it in your case without bending it all out of shape? (I have both 8/9 ball racks).
