I currently have a normal 'off the shelf' Predator 5K2 with Z2 shaft and as I mentioned on another thread I'm thinking of getting a table in a room that is basically too small. However I'm fairly short (5' 7.5") and naturally cue with my back hand 2-3 inches from the back, so I have considered...

So I have a garden room that is 5.28m x 4.27m (which I think is 17ft 4 inches x 14ft), so in simple terms would you go for an 8 footer or a 7 footer. I'm not a fan of using short cues, so I'd probably go smaller if that was likely. In terms of theory it looks like I'm right on the edge of an 8...

I'm hoping people on here can settle a debate I'm having on a snooker forum... My theory is that the 9-Ball break involves a lot of skill, hence players like SVB, Corey etc. have an advantages in say long races where winner breaks. However I also clarify this by saying there is luck involved...
