    Point scoring Mosconi 2015?

How does point scoring work? I bet on Shane and Sky for Top scoring American player (excluding Europeans). Games won?Matches won? I should be in good shape. Corey and Mike are doing bad like I expected. Bergman stepped it up last game..

So you're the coach, what do you say?

No one touch shane. I've got a few bucks on the guy. Same goes for sky, odds were too good to pass. What is working well is that no one distracts shane during a game. When he is on he doesnt miss. Van den berg, Corey and Mike's nervousness I can see in their game. Bergman agressive...

Things that I do not like about the Mosconi Cup, that really annoy me.

I like the cheering. Similar to european football matches. America needs to work on there "cheering chants" though it is lacking something. It would be less exciting to hear a tennis type crowd, too posh for pool.

    Dime Tip too much spin?

I've switched from a nickel to a dime and on long shots I have a harder time shooting. The tip is more rounded than a regular dime tip. Also I think that its adding more throw. I may go back to a nickel but I like the amount of back spin I can get with less power. Maybe something between a...

    Cues with internal plastic joint?

You are right. Regardless, are there any pool cue makers that make these type of joints for 5/16 or 3/8 to be able to play like a collared cue.

Players cues - do they have a weight bolt?

My players sneaky pete zebra wood comes with a 3 ounce weight bolt. Without the bolt it is 16 ounce and the butt diameter is small which I think is why the weight is low. Maybe someone else can answer but it would probably be best to have the proper weight and you can add a weight bolt to...

    Favourite wood for playability?

There is never a definitive answer to ANY question unless it is a fact or statistic. hard maple shaft and weight bolt question?

Is it common practice for big manufacturers to make a 16 ounce cue and add weight bolts to get the weight up to 17,18,19 or 20 ounce. I am asking because I bought a low end 19 ounce cue and inside there was a 3 ounce weight bolt. If I was to buy from schon, schuler, mezz ect should I be expecting...

    The $200 question

I have a players sneaky cue and it plays great. It is my first cue. Balance point is 30 cm down from the cue butt joint. Only thing that is a bit off is the joint. The butt joint is recessed and there is a gap where no wood is touching the shaft.
