I was in your situation a few months ago. I was so close on pulling the trigger on a used GCIV. I actually bought a Diamond Professional. The wait was horrible but well worth it. Good luck with your purchase.

Thanks BmoreMoney! It's the nicest room in the house. Im not going to lie, the furniture is pretty comfy. It's a nice place to have a match or ring game, watch a game, take a nap, or grab a beer with a friend at the bar.

Thank you very much beneath. I'm very excited about the space. We have two TVs in the space. One in the bar and one by the couches. We have two refrigerators and an ice machine in the bar area too.
Well my wife and me recently completed our basement/family room/bar area. We probably need to decorate a little more. I like the space and we are enjoying it a bunch.

I grew up playing on green felt but my table has electric blue. I gave my wife options blue or green and she selected the final shade. Happy wife happy life and all. Not sure I believe that 100% of the time ;-)
I heard from Diamond. They telephoned to let me know that they would deliver my table this Wednesday. They apologized for the longer than expected wait time after I complained to them. They said they would put it on its own truck with 2 table mechanics to get it setup which I thought was cool...
Does anyone know the current wait time from factory? I was quoted a table in 8-10 weeks from time of order. I ordered mine in April and still no table. Is everyone seeing this lag time or is mine an isolated incident? I have to admit I'm pretty frustrated and feel like I'm getting the run...
worktheknight I think you were justifiable in your reaction. Someone attacking your credibility is not cool especially if you were innocent as you are. I actually think you handled it a lot better than I would have.
What he did in the 90s doesn't detract what he has accomplished since then. I like to hear stories like this. Someone has the destitute and resilience to stay clean. I always feel sad for the ones who cannot and their careers go south. Doc Gooden, Darryll Strawberry, and Josh Hamilton still...
That is a truly awesome story. Thanks for sharing. I had a guy I looked up to many years ago when I played all the time. He has since passed on. I am starting to play again and still remember some of the things he showed me. Enjoy your time with him and soak in as much as you can.
