My room has no creature comforts other than pool, small sofa, 55" pull out swivel tv, golf game while waiting your turn, 40 game scoring beads, mini fridge, and a bathroom behind the door. And the plus thing it has its own entry door from outside! Keep my buddies out of the wives space!
I posted pics before in this thread:

But I've made a few additions/changes. Most notably is my new cue cabinet that I designed last year in collaboration with Bruce Roeder of Blatt Billiards in NYC. I wanted to have space for two shafts behind each butt. Bruce did a wonderful job matching the cherry wood to my Olhausen table.
I'll have to remember this thread is here. My wife and I are having a house built and the basement will be unfinished to start. Eventually we will finish it and I will be putting in a 7' Diamond table in there. I'm thinking we will put it north/south in the direct middle here as it looks like we have about 14'4.5" X 18'9.5" give or take a bit. We aren't going to have that wet bar there so that will be removed and the sink will be put on the wall next to the refrigerator on the left side. I'm stoked on how this basement could potentially look down the road if we finish it right.
I'll try to remember to come back and post pics/update down the road once it happens. They just started on the build on our house (not sure if they have even started digging yet), so this won't be for a while.
Matt
This is why I don't understand hardwood floors. Why not just carpet the room?
Ibostons , that's an awesome set up brother - CONGRATS!!!! Tell yards what love the sofa and chairs, they look SO comfy! I just got up a little while ago but after seeing those overstuffed brown chairs I'm ready for a nap
Friggin tease.
Put the damn pictures up now, or don't bother coming back.
Dammit.
I could not agree more. Unfortunately carpeted floors are nearly unexistant in finnish homes :frown: Only a few pool / snooker rooms have carpeted floors that I have come across and not a single home where I have been. I know that my setup looks like a mess but it is the only way of having some grip underneath your feet as hardwood floors are slippery like soap with just your socks on  Yes, socks. We finns take off our shoes off when we are entering someones or our own home
Maybe I'll buy myself a piece of 'merican dream when it is time to renovate and have the floor carpeted on my pool room, that would look the part and be so much more comfortable aswell
