    D@mn Headaches from long sessions.

I don't know why the photos didn't show up I used the attachment uploaded. Anyhow I had one car wreck when I was 18. Went into a drainage ditch and my head hit the roof of the car@ 30mph. Also been hit in the head by a 4 car wide garage door in a service department when I was 19. I try to snack...

Numbers on Valley Supreme Cues? Not the weight

Jealous of the beard I see, don't worry I get that a lot lol. Not to many folks shoot pool with a beard that touches the table and the cue splits through it lol

What's your APA 8-ball Skill Level?

I think most people are 3s and 5s honestly. Around here most teams are mainly composed of 3s and 4s with maybe one 5 or 6. 7s seem to be rare and even if my skill level was 7 I don't think I would want to be a 7.

Numbers on Valley Supreme Cues? Not the weight

Me and a buddy sometimes take one piece Valley Supremes into place to blend in on the pool table. I was wondering what the numbers marked on them mean. I have one that is G-12 and a L-14. Is there anyway to yell how old they are. I have one that I'm sure must be old because it has beautiful wood...

    APA rating question

Yes the opposing team watched me warm up and goof off. I play for fun but that game I tried. Honestly I made sure each shot I took i tried not to leave him an easy run as my captain told me he was the best in our division. I think the 6s nerves got the better of him as they where taking time...

    APA rating question

My friend has been a 5 for months and I can stay with him tied up. I never play 9 ball but when I do I can run 5-6 balls on average. As for 8 ball I usally average a 5 ball run. Sometimes I'll run off 6 or 7 and screw up shape on the 8. So I try not to clear all my balls unless I know I can pull...

    APA rating question

I have never played in the APA. My first game was last week. I was started @ level 4 and first match was against a level 6. I won the match barely 3-2, there were 12 innings and running totAL was 4. So this week after just one game I'm a 5. My captain mentioned he has never seen anyone move up...

    Types of Valley Supreme

I already have a good two piece McDermott. I'm trying to find out which Valley supreme cues are good quality. I want to use the Valley Supreme one piece as a hustler cue. Plan on finding me one and changing it to a good tip. Also I wonder if someone could taper it. Anyhow I got a close friend...

    Types of Valley Supreme

I was wondering if older Valley supremes are better than the newer ones. Also what are the numbers for such as C8, J14, F3. Plan on finding me a good 18oz one and putting on a everest or kamui tip.

    Is this considered a foul?

If anyone gets picky about it I'll just put it in a pony tail and tuck it in my shirt. I don't get real low on the ball but enough that the cue splits my beard and hangs 2 inches or so off the table.

    Is this considered a foul?

My beard is getting long and sometimes contacts an object ball while taking a shot. Is this considered a foul? There's no way that my facial hair can move the ball but some folks say I'm fouling.

Most racks ever run on a Valley bar box

Those Valley side pockets get me every time. Going just from a 8 footer to a bar box makes running out easier on me. That is when my heads in the game lol

What's the best type of eyeglass frame for billiards?

I hate contacts because of my astigmatism. The only lenses I'll use now is cr39. I never realized how crappy polycarbonate is as a lens. The color correction on plain cr39 is outstanding compared to poly. It's almost as good as high index trivex. Thanks for the links guys. I'll look into them...

How do I break in a everest tip?

BTW the tip is compressed now and I put somewhere between a dime and nickel shape on it. I can draw the cb again. I guess I was not use to a solid wood stick.

How do I break in a everest tip?

How are the tables over in Hoover? I have played at Sayre and they have diamond bar boxes. Honestly they are the nicest tables I have ever played on.

What's the best type of eyeglass frame for billiards?

Due to wearing corrective lenses I can't get down low on the cue ball. I found these frames cheap and wondered if any of yall would think they would work well for pool. here's a link to the frames. www.zennioptical.com/314915-rimless-flexible-memory-titanium-same-appearance-as-frame-8049.html

What do I clean my Cue with

Yes I cup my hand while chalking. I do it so fast between shots that I'm now realizing that i chalk the cue wrong. Just by slowing down and thinking stopped the chalk from going everywhere. I didn't get my right hand dirty today just my left fingers and palm lol

What do I clean my Cue with

Hell yes I know to leave the wrapper on the chalk lol. I have known that since I was a kid lol. I was over chalking the new tip with my right hand. I can't help but get my bridge hand nasty playing on felt that has not been changed in 2 years lol.
