Does the linen have cotton in it? I know CA has a pretty bad reaction with Cotton... smoke's and gets very hot. I wouldn't want to breath the smoke that came off of it.

I believe this is correct. Dr Dave did a study and some of the others did better than Masters, if you shot several shots without chalking up... chalking every shot there was no difference. Other than trying to see how long you can shoot without chalking up the only difference is the price tag.

Never thought about rubber before, but you could use "Cold Shrink tubing" when I was a maintenance tech we'd put it on hammer handles and on wrench handles. It's at least 1/16" thick. Slide it over the area pull the string from the still large side and it colapses on very snug. LINK
