    New Olhausen tournament model..................

I find it funny to hear “Olhausen Rattle” then the same people saying “Tight assed Diamond”. The pockets play exactly the same for the same reasons. There is a table difficulty thread (sticky’ that was started for this exact reason. With that being said, the Olhausen rails play slower than...

    My Fargorate progression

Sorry that it took too long to respond. I retired and moved out of state. Here’s how it works with double jeopardy. I am referring to USAPL league play. You have three seasons to qualify while playing both 8 ball and 10 ball in a night for the year. A team qualifies in 8 ball but not 10 ball...

I purchased a bulletproof recoil tip (red medium) tip and...

I had the same issue with draw on the medium top. Try scuffing with 80 grit.

    My Fargorate progression

Actually, I meant that the Fargo handicap is being circumvented in the USAPL leagues via the double jeopardy leagues. (8 ball and 10 ball). Sorry that I didn’t communicate that properly the first time.

    My Fargorate progression

First, I believe that Fargo system is the best. But… If the room has a double jeopardy league, I can almost guarantee they cheat.

    Tip talk

I’m sorry that I took so long to respond. I retired and moved to a new state. You need a lathe to install this tip. I usually do my own but not this time.

I purchased a bulletproof recoil tip (red medium) tip and...

I’ve been playing with a medium for four months. I love it, I found that a periodic light scuffing with 80 grit sand paper provides the best grip on the chalk and best CB action. This tip does wear down. But it is a slow wear and it plays very consistently.

    Tip talk

Has anyone other than me tried the Bulletproof playing tip? I’m about 4 months into my test run. I like it. The key is to scuff it with 80 grit.

    Change my mind. Elkmaster

LOL, no…I dry press my Elkmaster 1mm for 48 hours before installing on my predator carbon shaft. But, there has been a recent change. I’m trying the new Bulletproof Synthetic playing tip (medium). Feel doesn’t have anything to do with pocketing balls.

two new elk master 13mm tip boxes in a row very hard / old?

I use Elk Master tips and I buy a box at a time. They have never dried out on me and a box lasts years. I do float test them and throw away the floaters. I dry press mine, 1mm for 48 hours. FTR, I installed a new Bulletproof Recoil Synthetic tip 2 days ago. So far I really like it. If this tip...
