breaking with cuetec break and jump cues

Yes, that's correct. All I have to do is point and my magical schon pockets the balls effortlessly.;) Ain't a lot of "A" players (or "B" players, for that matter) shooting with cuetecs. I know that a lot of people can't afford schons (start at about $450) but there are MUCH better...

breaking with cuetec break and jump cues

That's because you were shooting with a schon:D A person would be lucky to win 3 games in 1259 hours with a "q-tip" (cuetec) or "mon-chi-chi" (meucci):p When they say cuetec "break" cue, they mean it. Rick P.

    Schon cues?

I got my schons and other "stuff" from Seyberts. They're 25% off retail (most other sites are 20%) and they throw in enough "Seyberts bucks" to make my 2nd day air shipping free. You can also call them and have your model cue customized (different wrap, shafts, tips, stains etc) to your liking...

    Newb Questions: Seyberts tricks me?

Seyberts is an excellent and HONEST billiard supply company---they don't trick anyone. All of the shipping costs are up front BEFORE you pay for them. Nothing's hidden. If you don't like what you see, don't buy it. And by the way, when Seyberts says "10% off" they mean off the suggested retail...

What's the best compliment you've ever received about your pool game?

Oh---where to begin...:p I think the biggest compliments to ANY pool player are the constant requests by opponents for "spots." Another nice compliment is "I don't want to play you." Most of my girlfriends say, "You have a WONDERFUL stick:p " Rick P.

Why do you think there are more good Filipino pool Players?

They're obviously a lower income country and don't have a lot of organized sports. Take a look at their, for example, olympic medal count and per capita pro sports programs. The Philippines is the 12th most populated country in the world at over 90,000,000, but there just isn't much interest or...

Why do you think there are more good Filipino pool Players?

Billiards is the national sport in the Philippines. Efren is their Tiger Woods and national hero. It's a blue collar country and "true" billiards is a blue collar sport. One beat-up table and a couple of broomsticks can entertain many. Not a lot of kids with PS3's, Xbox 360's, or Core 2 Duo...

    Giving up on Tournaments.......

Sorry 'bout that!:D Seems like there's a lot of white collar (organized) pool players on this forum who are completely ignorant to the blue collar (natural) side of pool. Leagues, tourneys, pool instructors---ANY ORGANIZED POOL---all of the pool players I consider "friends" didn't have or...

    Your First Game of Pool

Ahhh yes-- I remember my first session of pool like it was yesterday. My mom was in her third trimester and I finally had developed fingers on my bridge hand. It was REALLY dark, but I swam around until I found my table and cue. (You don't even want to know how those items got in there:eek: )...

    Giving up on Tournaments.......

Ahhhh-- cheesy little tournaments. God's gift to the true pro players. I have this "friend" who hasn't "won" a tournament in many years--not directly anyways;) "He" enters tournaments to set up a few ego-laden players for post tourney action. It's quite simple. Throw a few tourney games, hang...

    Custom vs. production cues

Yah, I hear yuh! I stomped Harry Potter and his "Nimbus 2000" broomstick with a house broomstick. Sent him home flying and crying:D Rick P.

    Custom vs. production cues

Never ran into that problem with my schon. If some dude is smart enough to own a cue similar to mine, I'd congratulate them for making such a smart purchase. If someone is so insecure that--HEAVEN FORBID-- somebody else might have a cue similar to theirs, then these folks pay the 4-digit...

What Is The Highest Known Price Paid For A Cue And Who Was The Cue Maker?

And, for what it's worth, the Wikipedia states that the Thomas Wayne Celtic Prince cue "is the most valuable artisian cue in the world (as of 2004)". This obviously doesn't prove that it IS the most valuable though. There are probably at least a few "discreetly made" cues that are sitting in...
