First day with my Aramith Tournament Black , dinged already

Out of a hundred times, that a cue ball goes in a pocket, how often is it traveling at a speed that results in damage?

If you use a jump cue then most likely than not I'm getting ball in hand....

If it’s 9 out of 10, I can only imagine who your opponents are. Most people don’t get to practice jumps on any regular basis. It’s amazing what a difference this makes. You have to be willing to beat up your own cloth, or find a place that allows it. Pool halls that sell equipment, will often...

    Humidity

Several good ideas that need to be integrated. Dehumidifier that is piped to a drain, so it’s 24/7. HVAC blower constantly on. Two swiveling fans, one on a pedestal, one at floor level. The air has to move. I have a big basement, and live where it can get really wet. I implemented these four...

    Is this legal

The guy did everything kosher, except for the fingerprint smudge. I’ve watched SVB line up a rail first shot the exact same way, only without marking the rail. After seeing it done, I practiced it at home, it works well.

    Is this legal

Was watching part of a match, two pretty good players. Race to 7, $100. The one guy was getting a game on the wire. He is using his cue to measure a rail first shot. Puts his finger on the rail and bends down to look back at the cue ball. As he stands up, he drags his finger a little. He walks...

Curious-Do Fargo ratings differ by location?

“10 per million population “ means less than 3500 people in the entire U.S. Pool is an easy game, unless you are actually trying to be good at it.

Dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in pool!

Let's not neglect to mention the players that have improved. Equipment upgrades aren't the sole reason, but are usually part of it.

gaps on side of cue tip Huebler

You could, but probably shouldn’t. Unless you really know what you’re doing, don’t mess with it. Take it to someone that does quality work. Owning a lathe doesn’t mean they know how to use it. I do all my own plumbing, electrical, tree work, etc. I would not mess with it.
