What I'm saying is there were no women at 9-ball WPCs that were intended for men. For some 30 years since I started to follow. I'm fine with what you call an "open" event, but let me tell that as long as a "9-ball women WC" exist, please keep the same for men. Who won't have to be dealing with...

World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

My question is quite the opposite: why are they allowed to be in this? As long as women have their own 9-ball worlds, men are entitled to have the same. And it used to be like this, until MR decided they need to drop Fallon Sharrock (inquiring minds are free to google this) into the lion's den...

Seo is not a replacament for Amit AFAIK, if Rubilen did not withdraw both of them would have been here in Jeddah.

Melling is always a pleasure to watch as a pool player. One of the most intelligent and creative over there. And Kaci is a former major winner, lat year's runnner-up. So the streamer's choice is pretty much natural and approved ;)

Jen, please fix that mistake :) Francesca is a female name in Italy, while males are named with an -o in the end By the way, following the same principle it would be offensive when you visit La Scala in Milano and being excited by strong performance of a male tenor, shout "Brava!" Brava is for...

Eklent Kaci had to cover his face with hands during wlak-on, so that the sparkles bursting around don't hurt hie eyes  Who even deccided this is a good idea, to injure a player right before the match?

I was rooting for his counterpart, Ferrer. He was reported to have beaten AJ at some event recently, Vietnam or something over there. Played as good as Manas, and the final stats numbers are pretty much even. The only part which differs, and not in favor of the defeated (Alex) is balls missed...

Multiple examples of people getting lost about this only exaggerate MR could have done much much better in this department. (When they first introduced their scoring service they never even bothered to explain this "lil red dot" thing anywhere)

List of pro players who stick to wood as their playing shaft

I was hoping you were literate enough to notice the words "for reference sake" in an introduction. You are very well free and welcome to not give a damn. Just please walk past then, don't say anything. Thanks for your attention!

Does anyone know the name of the ref for SVB vs Sotero TV match? I never seen it mentioned by Sky Sports production (or even the pundits, though I haven't seen each and every TV match, so they could tell it once or twice but I missed that)

Best way to ship a high end cue

My view is that PVC is good but if think enough it is heavier than with the method I used mupltiple times with no issues. Get some floor moulding and make a shipping wrap out of that one. Usually two blocks would do, but if you want extra extra extra level of security you may go for four.

List of pro players who stick to wood as their playing shaft

At least seemingly ;) Got me thinking that current WPC (2025) is a good chance to start such a list, just for the reference sake. As we know, nowadays many wooden shafts are not pure wood but could keep all sorts of carbon inside (rods, tubes, etc.) But based on appearance it is easy to tell...

Mark Wilson on sidespin to pocket balls

Around 2%, to be more precise. Whether it qualifies as a whisper or not, everybody could decide for themselves. (Anything more comes down as a result of clingy, dirty point of contact, which is totally another story)

My oh my, DigitalPool, what the heck are you doin' with us!...

FargoRate is another probable issue you mention here. I suppose there are enough events which Mike Page tends to process himself (not the TDs sending in the results). How on Earth is he going to know if the scoreline is real?! That is very sad in reality.
