The most expensive cue in the world....

McDermott was ahead of it's time with this one. This was designed to look good with a REVO shaft.

    Borana Andoni vs "omgwtf"

I'm probably in the minority but I probably wouldn't pay for a stream if I knew both contestants were playing early after long travel just to be 'streamed live'. I'd rather the match be updated via posts here or something and they both play in their best condition to see who's actually better...

    Pool on Community

Don't know how many, or if any, of you watch this show, but Community, season 1 episode 17 (aired tonight) has an ending some of you will appreciate, and some will probably hate. One of the focuses of this particular episode is billiards in college phys ed. Very cool reference in my opinion...

    Jennifer Barretta on MTV?

Care to bet on it? This is bad because people will imitate it, its not like its going to inspire someone to go to a pool hall and learn the game.

    Membership and this forum.

Probably not every time, usually the agreements are per 100 clicks on the banner or so. For every 100 clicks, the site gets $.25 or something along those lines.

    Jennifer Barretta on MTV?

It was from last nights new episode, season 2, so do not bother, its not online at MTV yet... I already posted who it was. Ewa Mataya Laurance, aka The Striking Viking.

The ROI is 0 for me. Most probably take their $35 and actually go play pool with it.

+++Was there any Press for Mosconi Cup !!!+++

Simply put, there is no market for billiards in the US- why would they put money into promoting it here? It simply does not do well here.

Mosconi Cup Video ~ Dennis Hatch vs Niels Feijen

Custom Gullassy(sp?) with a 314-2. BuffaloFloyd has a thread on it with some real nice up close pics.

    Ok, I need one... wow

Well that shouldn't be the first thing on your mind because its a system not a pool table. It could be used on any pool table. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4Qd9tSMx6Y Its a projector above the table. Use it on a Diamond and jump away. The system is $80,000 but could include future uses...

The problem is with Vshare. I'm getting asked for paypal donations on the direct link. Too many people on right now.

    This is gonna hurt dcc

Pool in America is dying. That's a plain fact. If a team format gets more people interested in the game, then I'm all for it. Times and interests change, changes need to come to the world of pool, or it will disappear.

    This is gonna hurt dcc

Just to play the other side: I'm boggled by the ideology that the WPA should move its gigantic world event over something like the DCC. Not to knock the DCC, it is a big national event for mostly American pool(Yes, some people fly in for the prize money & action in the practice room, but its...

Rules variations? and applied rules to High Run.

Just play like Earl, only counts if the ref sees it! Count it how you want to, its what you feel that matters most.

    Shane and Mika

Its not like the tournaments are all ran by the same people. Different organizations following their own schedules. And it could be worse, the players could be under contracts and not be able to compete at all in some of these events (ie MMA).

    TRADE - ** $ Cue ** looking for BK2, cash, whatever you got that I can try~

This cue is really nice in person. I didn't get a chance to play with it, but I did get a nice look over. The photo doesn't show the quality of the wood used, definitely something to see in person (or from someone who knows how to work a camera ).
