That would be a good one for Rollie Williams (formerly Your Average Pool Player on YouTube) to make his return to pool and see how many tries it takes him to replicate.

Interesting that Wiktor is shown with the AIN flag instead of the Polish one. You can’t even represent your country if you’re not a part of the federation?

The camera work in this event is quite poor. They seem to lack the understanding that seeing the ball go into the pocket is important, but in many cases it’s even more important to see where the cue ball is going afterwards. There have been numerous times where they just show a zoomed in view...

    WNT, WPA and 2026

Panozzo’s point about the WNT feeling like a handful of events vs a true tour is spot on in my opinion. They need to do a better job of finding locations that fit for their format and then lock them in for longer, more consistent term. How can you expect players/fans to commit to something when...

EUROPEAN OPEN 2026, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, March 10-15

How did Arseni and Soufi play in their losses? My gut tells me their rapid fire pace doesn’t hold up well in later rounds when the level of opponent and pressure both increase. That breakneck pace seems to breed unforced errors and you’re not likely to get away with too many of those deep in...

EUROPEAN OPEN 2026, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, March 10-15

Matchroom needs to be more proactive in communicating what their event schedule looks like in advance. Given the uptick in options and with only a couple months notice, it’s not surprising that players would have made other commitments. Matchroom needs to realize that they’re not the only big...

    John Schmidt runs 820

There’s no way he’s a hall of famer. A high run of 820 and a US Open 20 years ago isn’t anywhere close to outweighing his complete lack of meaningful titles.

    John Schmidt runs 820

Good run. I wonder if he’s going to screw around and not let anyone see it until long after people stop caring. He has to realize that people only care about these runs for a few weeks after they occur and then it’s back to being an afterthought.

SJM at the Las Vegas Open

She’s also tight with Oscar who is heavily involved with Brunswick. That probably helps a little too.

These are the pockets those tables are equipped with. I’d say they were probably a touch over the 4.5” at the mouth like the picture shows as two balls would easily fit through. The pocket opening plus the pocket angle plus the very short shelf all added up to making the table play too easy in...

    Table Light Recommendations

I bought a perimeter light from user songj2096 on here about 5 years ago. Really reasonably priced, lights up my 9footer perfectly, and hasn’t given me any problems. He even sent me out another set of mounting hardware for free when I moved my table into my girlfriend’s house.

    Careful Criticizing CSI Org

Just got back from the BCA Nationals the other day and saw this on Facebook. I guess Ozzy’s wife commented on the thread and banned the guy from anything BCA related and also stripped him of his league operator status for whatever territory he’s in. That seems like a pretty extreme reaction to...

    Griff's 2026 US Open events

Molina Mike does far too much talking in his interviews instead of listening to what the guests have to say. At the end of the day, he’s just a guy. I think he’s fallen into a common trap among podcasters: Get big enough (at least in pool terms which is saying something) and you start thinking...

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

Yep, I had to take the ball return window off on the very first night they opened the tables up for practice. The cue ball or other random balls kept getting stuck instead of rolling through. I showed a couple of refs where the keys were and by the next day they took the doors off of all of the...

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

The tables were much different this year. They were still predator apex tables, but they were setup completely different than the prior year. They all had Predators “league cut” pockets on them which is a different pocket width (4.75”) and I believe the angle of the facings is different as...

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

The pockets on those tables were terrible. They were too wide, cut straight to allow poorly struck balls to fall, and the cut of the slate came almost to the center of the pocket between the two points. Couple all that with new cloth and you could make balls even if you hit a full diamond up the...

Pro Billiard Series - Las Vegas Men's Open 10ball live now

So like tennis then? I’m not a fan of the shootout but I think the multiple set format is a nice change of pace compared to a standard race to 5 or 7. I don’t think I’d want to see this become the standard but it’s nice as a one of.
