    CPBA Royal

Greetings. A friend of mine just recovered his Valley table with CPBA competition cloth and new penguin rails.. Cloth feels and plays very similar to Championship 3030 tour edition, but is not as thick... easy to stretch and not as coarse as 30-30 tour edition. Plays fast, but allows good cue...

    Andy vs Simonis

Andy 988 is great billiard cloth (80/20).. not as coarse as Champ 3030 (70/30), plays close to 860 (90/10), great playing cloth..lot of CB control. 600 club (70/30) seems to be closer to 760 in fibre blend, weight, and cloth speed..just my 2 cents (from personal experience).

Do you think these pockets were too large?

The spectacular shots of the professional pool players, from back in the day, is what made the game very exciting and enticing to budding amateurs. The likes of Keith mcCready Morrow Paez, Bernado "King Kong" Chavez, et al, would have a very difficult time playing today's game using the skills...

Really not a fan of Predator "Arcrapia" equipment...

I played on them too.. my biggest complaint was the Predator cloth caused the cue ball to skid before rolling and also when I applied a nip draw or stun draw I couldn't get any action. The ball would just die. If I used a power draw, the ball would backspin in place and then zip back across the...

When did the red measles start coming in duramith?

Yes! I bought a set of the Dynasphere silvers from West State Billiards for 130 bucks via amazon a couple of months back. I love the colors and they play great! They play very elastic like my set of Cyclops Ladon balls.. a lot of action. I believe they are made from the same material and from...
